鋰電池充電器LCD電量顯示

   思旺電子開發出一款為鋰電池充電器 (萬能充/座充)設計的配套LCD/LED驅動電路SE9120,在顯示電池電量的同時還能顯示充電進度和(he)電池充飽狀(zhuang)態(tai)。下(xia)文將重點介紹SE9120的(de)主(zhu)要技術特點。

  SE9120主要功能

  SE9120主要功能包括電池電量檢測及充電進度顯示功能,能夠通過電路內部自動判斷電池極性,自動切換到電池正確的極性,解決用戶在裝載電池時需要人工判斷電池極性的問題。在檢測電池極性的同時,SE9120能夠檢測電池的電量,同時SE9120是第一款創新的用4位分段顯示的方法,驅動4柱LCD屏,使用戶可以查看電池電量的集成電路。

  SE9120是(shi)一款高智(zhi)能(neng)的數(shu)模(mo)(mo)混合(he)電(dian)(dian)路,該芯片(pian)采用數(shu)模(mo)(mo)混合(he)方(fang)式,通過(guo)4位柱狀顯(xian)示LCD屏(ping)或LED屏(ping),在顯(xian)示電(dian)(dian)池電(dian)(dian)量(liang)(liang)的同(tong)時還能(neng)顯(xian)示充電(dian)(dian)進度(du)和電(dian)(dian)池充飽狀態(tai)。SE9120的內部結(jie)構(gou)如圖1所示。主要包(bao)括(kuo)五大功(gong)能(neng)模(mo)(mo)塊:基準電(dian)(dian)壓單元;電(dian)(dian)池電(dian)(dian)量(liang)(liang)檢測單元;顯(xian)示邏輯單元;LCD驅動(dong)單元;LED背光驅動(dong)單元。

  電池電量(liang)檢(jian)測單元

  SE9120通過電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)(chi)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)量(liang)(liang)檢(jian)測單(dan)(dan)元中的(de)(de)(de)B1電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)(chi)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)量(liang)(liang)信(xin)(xin)息(xi)單(dan)(dan)元,探(tan)測到(dao)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)(chi)兩端的(de)(de)(de)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓和電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)(chi)的(de)(de)(de)極性,然后(hou)自動轉(zhuan)換(huan)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)(chi)極性,并將(jiang)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)(chi)的(de)(de)(de)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓傳(chuan)送(song)給B2模數轉(zhuan)換(huan)單(dan)(dan)元,然后(hou)模數控制單(dan)(dan)元將(jiang)這個電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)(chi)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)量(liang)(liang)的(de)(de)(de)信(xin)(xin)號,與(yu)內建精準(zhun)(zhun)的(de)(de)(de)基準(zhun)(zhun)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓單(dan)(dan)元提(ti)供的(de)(de)(de)參考電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓進行比較,從而將(jiang)模擬的(de)(de)(de)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)(chi)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)量(liang)(liang)信(xin)(xin)號,轉(zhuan)換(huan)為數字(zi)信(xin)(xin)號,提(ti)供給后(hou)級電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)路(lu)。

  阻(zu)抗(kang)跟(gen)(gen)蹤(zong)(zong)(IT)技術(shu)(shu)非常獨特,比現有(you)解決(jue)(jue)方案(an)更為(wei)精確,原因是該(gai)技術(shu)(shu)具有(you)的(de)自學習機制能解決(jue)(jue)導致電池阻(zu)抗(kang)及空載(zai)條(tiao)件(jian)下化(hua)學全(quan)容量(QMAX)發生變(bian)(bian)化(hua)的(de)老化(hua)問題。阻(zu)抗(kang)跟(gen)(gen)蹤(zong)(zong)技術(shu)(shu)使用(yong)動態模擬算法(fa)學習并(bing)跟(gen)(gen)蹤(zong)(zong)電池特性,即在電池實際使用(yong)過程中,先(xian)測量阻(zu)抗(kang)及容量值,然后跟(gen)(gen)蹤(zong)(zong)其變(bian)(bian)化(hua)。使用(yong)該(gai)算法(fa)則無(wu)需定(ding)期(qi)進行完整(zheng)周期(qi)容量校正(zheng)。

  利用(yong)電池(chi)(chi)(chi)(chi)阻(zu)抗(kang)知識,能夠(gou)實現精確(que)的負載及溫度補償。最重要的是,通過(guo)對電池(chi)(chi)(chi)(chi)參數(shu)的動(dong)態學(xue)習,該(gai)測量(liang)法在電池(chi)(chi)(chi)(chi)的整個(ge)使用(yong)壽(shou)命(ming)內都能對電量(liang)進行精確(que)的測量(liang)。與單(dan)獨使用(yong)庫侖計數(shu)法或(huo)電池(chi)(chi)(chi)(chi)電壓相關法相比,阻(zu)抗(kang)跟蹤技術(shu)在測量(liang)電池(chi)(chi)(chi)(chi)剩余容量(liang)方面更加出色(se)。

  顯示邏輯單元

  顯(xian)示邏(luo)輯(ji)單(dan)元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)是整(zheng)個電(dian)路(lu)(lu)的核心(xin)單(dan)元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan),該單(dan)元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)需要(yao)將前級(ji)輸送(song)的電(dian)池電(dian)量信息和其他(ta)檢(jian)測(ce)(ce)信號進行邏(luo)輯(ji)判斷,顯(xian)示邏(luo)輯(ji)單(dan)元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)又包括以下幾個重要(yao)組成部分:C1-振(zhen)蕩器;C2-頻(pin)率選擇單(dan)元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan);C3-電(dian)池短路(lu)(lu)檢(jian)測(ce)(ce);C4-電(dian)源電(dian)池電(dian)壓比較單(dan)元(yuan)(yuan)(yuan);C5-電(dian)池充(chong)飽(bao)檢(jian)測(ce)(ce)。

  其中,振(zhen)(zhen)蕩(dang)(dang)器單元為(wei)整(zheng)個(ge)系統提供(gong)振(zhen)(zhen)蕩(dang)(dang)信號(hao)(hao),由于LCD需要用開(kai)關信號(hao)(hao)控(kong)(kong)制,所(suo)以振(zhen)(zhen)蕩(dang)(dang)器不(bu)僅為(wei)LCD提供(gong)基準(zhun)的(de)開(kai)關信號(hao)(hao),還作為(wei)邏輯控(kong)(kong)制信號(hao)(hao)控(kong)(kong)制LCD的(de)亮暗。頻率選(xuan)擇(ze)單元將振(zhen)(zhen)蕩(dang)(dang)器輸入的(de)信號(hao)(hao)進(jin)行整(zheng)合,實現電(dian)池(chi)電(dian)量分段顯(xian)示(shi)的(de)功能(neng):Vbat<3.7V,能(neng)量低(di)于40%,LCD顯(xian)示(shi)屏四(si)個(ge)格全(quan)滅;3.7V4.0V,能(neng)量約(yue)為(wei)100%,LCD顯(xian)示(shi)屏四(si)個(ge)格全(quan)亮。

  本方(fang)案采用(yong)變頻技術,在顯示充電進(jin)度時,每當一個bar停止閃爍時,對還在閃爍的其他bar調(diao)整頻率(lv)。當只剩(sheng)下一個bar閃爍時,閃爍占空比為50%.

  電(dian)(dian)源電(dian)(dian)池(chi)電(dian)(dian)壓比較(jiao)單(dan)元通過(guo)比較(jiao)電(dian)(dian)源與電(dian)(dian)池(chi)的電(dian)(dian)壓,判斷充(chong)電(dian)(dian)器(qi)是處(chu)在只(zhi)接(jie)電(dian)(dian)池(chi)的狀(zhuang)態(tai)(tai)還是充(chong)電(dian)(dian)狀(zhuang)態(tai)(tai),當只(zhi)接(jie)電(dian)(dian)池(chi)的狀(zhuang)態(tai)(tai)時,SE9120分(fen)段顯示電(dian)(dian)池(chi)電(dian)(dian)量(liang)。在充(chong)電(dian)(dian)狀(zhuang)態(tai)(tai)下(xia),SE9120會(hui)控制LCD滾(gun)動(dong)顯示。具體分(fen)為以下(xia)幾種情(qing)況:Vbat<3.7V,能量(liang)低于(yu)40%,LCD四格滾(gun)動(dong)顯示;

  3.7V4.0V且(qie)C5電池充(chong)(chong)飽(bao)檢(jian)測單元檢(jian)測到(dao)電池已經充(chong)(chong)滿,能量約為100%,LCD顯示屏(ping)四個格全亮(liang)。

  LCD驅動單元

  該單元不僅是給(gei)LCD屏一個驅動(dong),此外(wai),SE9120還解決了傳統方案中,通過單邊驅動(dong)LCD的(de)方法(fa)導(dao)致低(di)電(dian)壓(ya)時(shi)(shi)LCD顯示(shi)亮(liang)度(du)不足的(de)問題。SE9120采用創新的(de)雙邊驅動(dong)LCD方法(fa)使得(de)電(dian)壓(ya)較(jiao)低(di)時(shi)(shi)仍(reng)能夠(gou)保持較(jiao)高的(de)LCD亮(liang)度(du)。

  LED背光驅(qu)動單元

  該單元智能控制LED背光功(gong)能,當只接電(dian)池時,可自動關閉LED藍色背光,因而達到了省電(dian)的(de)功(gong)效,同時也減少(shao)了電(dian)池的(de)消耗。

  LED背(bei)光(guang)被(bei)用(yong)(yong)在(zai)(zai)小巧、廉價的(de)(de)LCD面(mian)板(ban)上(shang)。他(ta)的(de)(de)光(guang)通常(chang)(chang)是有顏色的(de)(de),雖然(ran)白色背(bei)光(guang)已經(jing)愈來(lai)愈普遍了。電(dian)光(guang)面(mian)板(ban)經(jing)常(chang)(chang)被(bei)使用(yong)(yong)在(zai)(zai)大型顯示(shi)上(shang),這(zhe)(zhe)時(shi)均勻的(de)(de)背(bei)光(guang)是很重要的(de)(de)。電(dian)光(guang)面(mian)板(ban)需要經(jing)由高壓的(de)(de)交流(liu)電(dian)來(lai)驅(qu)動,這(zhe)(zhe)部份由反(fan)用(yong)(yong)換流(liu)器回(hui)路來(lai)提供(gong)。冷陰極管被(bei)用(yong)(yong)在(zai)(zai)像是電(dian)腦顯示(shi)器上(shang),顏色上(shang)通常(chang)(chang)是白色的(de)(de),這(zhe)(zhe)同樣也需要反(fan)用(yong)(yong)換流(liu)器和散光(guang)器。白熾背(bei)光(guang)則在(zai)(zai)需要高亮度(du)時(shi)被(bei)使用(yong)(yong),但(dan)是其缺點則是白熾燈泡(pao)的(de)(de)壽命(ming)相(xiang)當有限(xian),而(er)且會產生相(xiang)當多的(de)(de)熱(re)量。
