精確的鋰離子電池充電器IC

       鋰離子充電電池具有能量密度高、容易制作成各種形狀和尺寸,因此在消費類電子產品中被廣泛使用。但鋰電池需要精確的充電電流和輸出電壓,以優化電池壽命和性能。為了滿足這一需求,飛思卡爾半導體公司推出了MC34671、MC34673和MC34674單輸入自動電池充電器集成電(dian)路(lu)。這些器件采用了飛思卡爾(er)的(de)SMARTMOS工藝技(ji)術,輸入電(dian)壓可來自AC適配器或USB端口電(dian)源(yuan)。器件的(de)最大輸入電(dian)壓為28V,因此可以(yi)取消手持設備(bei)的(de)外部(bu)輸入過電(dian)壓保護電(dian)路(lu),有(you)助于降低系統成本和電(dian)路(lu)板空(kong)間。

  芯片內(nei)部有寄存(cun)器(qi)(qi)(qi),飛思卡爾(er)可以(yi)根據(ju)客戶(hu)的(de)(de)需求,在生產流程(cheng)結束時對管腳(jiao)輸出、功能集和(he)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)參數(shu)、LED指(zhi)示(shi)燈進行(xing)定(ding)制,從而組(zu)合成數(shu)百種配置,滿足手機、藍(lan)牙耳機、數(shu)碼相機、個人媒體播(bo)放器(qi)(qi)(qi)、導航系(xi)統、數(shu)碼相機和(he)旅行(xing)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)(qi)等設備的(de)(de)需求。出廠前可編程(cheng)參數(shu)包(bao)括:輸出電(dian)(dian)(dian)壓、輸入過電(dian)(dian)(dian)壓保護、充電(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)流、涓流充電(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)流、涓流充電(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)壓閾(yu)值(zhi)、終(zhong)止充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)(dian)流、再充電(dian)(dian)(dian)閾(yu)值(zhi)、熱折返閾(yu)值(zhi)、超時和(he)核查濾波器(qi)(qi)(qi)定(ding)時。工廠可重新配置的(de)(de)功能包(bao)括:可編程(cheng)指(zhi)示(shi)燈管腳(jiao)功能、ISET管腳(jiao)(電(dian)(dian)(dian)流套)、負(fu)溫度系(xi)數(shu)(NTC)接(jie)口選擇、電(dian)(dian)(dian)池連接(jie)檢驗、終(zhong)止充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)(dian)流和(he)遠程(cheng)傳(chuan)感。

  MC34671的最大充電電流為600mA,過壓保護電壓為11V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34673的最大充電電流為1.2A,過壓保護電壓為6.8V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34674的初始固定充電電流可設定為50mA~1050mA,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.1ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC,過壓保護電壓為11V,具有超時檢測、NTC和智能電池檢測功能,適用于旅行充電器。即將推出的MC34672支持USB充電,其(qi)他(ta)規格(ge)與前三款(kuan)器(qi)件基本相同。

  MC34671和(he)MC34673在(zai)(zai)-20℃~+70℃溫度(du)(du)范圍(wei)內(nei)的(de)輸(shu)出(chu)電壓精(jing)度(du)(du)為(wei)(wei)(wei)±0.7%(室溫下(xia)為(wei)(wei)(wei)±0.2%),在(zai)(zai)-40℃~+85℃溫度(du)(du)范圍(wei)內(nei)的(de)充電電流精(jing)度(du)(du)為(wei)(wei)(wei)±5%和(he)±6%。MC34674在(zai)(zai)-20℃~+70℃溫度(du)(du)范圍(wei)內(nei)的(de)輸(shu)出(chu)電壓精(jing)度(du)(du)為(wei)(wei)(wei)±0.2%,在(zai)(zai)-40℃~+85℃溫度(du)(du)范圍(wei)內(nei)的(de)充電電流精(jing)度(du)(du)為(wei)(wei)(wei)±8%。高輸(shu)出(chu)電壓精(jing)度(du)(du)的(de)好處是可延長電池(chi)的(de)使用壽命,最大限(xian)度(du)(du)地(di)實現充電容(rong)量。

  這些器(qi)件內部集成了防止電(dian)(dian)(dian)池反向放電(dian)(dian)(dian)的(de)場效應晶體管(guan)(FET)、阻(zu)塞(sai)二極管(guan),也(ye)無需檢流電(dian)(dian)(dian)阻(zu),可降低系統(tong)成本(ben)。器(qi)件還有充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)流熱(re)過載保(bao)護功能,既可以(yi)在有限(xian)的(de)空間中最大限(xian)度地利用充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)流,又不用擔心(xin)熱(re)設計(ji)的(de)問題。這些器(qi)件具有過電(dian)(dian)(dian)壓保(bao)護、過電(dian)(dian)(dian)流保(bao)護和過熱(re)溫(wen)度補償(chang)功能,采(cai)用2mm×3mm×0.65mm的(de)超薄型雙(shuang)扁(bian)平無引線(UDFN)耐(nai)熱(re)封(feng)裝(zhuang)。
