精確的鋰離子電池充電器IC

       鋰離子充電電池具有能量密度高、容易制作成各種形狀和尺寸,因此在消費類電子產品中被廣泛使用。但鋰電池需要精確的充電電流和輸出電壓,以優化電池壽命和性能。為了滿足這一需求,飛思卡爾半導體公司推出了MC34671、MC34673和MC34674單輸入自動電池充電器集成電(dian)路。這些(xie)器(qi)件采用了飛思卡爾的SMARTMOS工藝技術,輸(shu)(shu)入電(dian)壓可(ke)來(lai)自AC適配器(qi)或USB端口電(dian)源(yuan)。器(qi)件的最(zui)大輸(shu)(shu)入電(dian)壓為28V,因此可(ke)以取消手持設備的外部輸(shu)(shu)入過電(dian)壓保護電(dian)路,有助于降低(di)系統成本和(he)電(dian)路板(ban)空間。

  芯(xin)片內部有(you)寄(ji)存器(qi)(qi),飛思卡爾可(ke)(ke)以根據(ju)客戶的需求(qiu),在生產流(liu)(liu)程(cheng)結束時對管(guan)(guan)腳輸出、功能(neng)集和(he)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)參(can)數(shu)、LED指示(shi)(shi)燈進行定制,從(cong)而組合成數(shu)百種(zhong)配置,滿(man)足手機、藍牙耳機、數(shu)碼相機、個人媒體播放器(qi)(qi)、導(dao)航系統、數(shu)碼相機和(he)旅行充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)等設(she)備(bei)的需求(qiu)。出廠(chang)前可(ke)(ke)編(bian)程(cheng)參(can)數(shu)包括:輸出電(dian)(dian)壓、輸入過電(dian)(dian)壓保護(hu)、充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)、涓(juan)流(liu)(liu)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)、涓(juan)流(liu)(liu)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)壓閾(yu)(yu)值(zhi)、終止(zhi)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)、再充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)閾(yu)(yu)值(zhi)、熱折(zhe)返閾(yu)(yu)值(zhi)、超時和(he)核(he)查濾波器(qi)(qi)定時。工廠(chang)可(ke)(ke)重新配置的功能(neng)包括:可(ke)(ke)編(bian)程(cheng)指示(shi)(shi)燈管(guan)(guan)腳功能(neng)、ISET管(guan)(guan)腳(電(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)套)、負溫度系數(shu)(NTC)接口選擇(ze)、電(dian)(dian)池連接檢驗、終止(zhi)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)和(he)遠程(cheng)傳(chuan)感。

  MC34671的最大充電電流為600mA,過壓保護電壓為11V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34673的最大充電電流為1.2A,過壓保護電壓為6.8V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34674的初始固定充電電流可設定為50mA~1050mA,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.1ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC,過壓保護電壓為11V,具有超時檢測、NTC和智能電池檢測功能,適用于旅行充電器。即將推出的MC34672支持USB充(chong)電,其他規格與(yu)前三(san)款(kuan)器件基本相同。

  MC34671和MC34673在-20℃~+70℃溫(wen)(wen)(wen)度(du)范圍內(nei)的輸(shu)(shu)出(chu)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)度(du)為(wei)±0.7%(室溫(wen)(wen)(wen)下為(wei)±0.2%),在-40℃~+85℃溫(wen)(wen)(wen)度(du)范圍內(nei)的充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)精(jing)度(du)為(wei)±5%和±6%。MC34674在-20℃~+70℃溫(wen)(wen)(wen)度(du)范圍內(nei)的輸(shu)(shu)出(chu)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)度(du)為(wei)±0.2%,在-40℃~+85℃溫(wen)(wen)(wen)度(du)范圍內(nei)的充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)精(jing)度(du)為(wei)±8%。高輸(shu)(shu)出(chu)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)度(du)的好處是(shi)可延長電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池的使用(yong)壽命,最大(da)限度(du)地實現(xian)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)容(rong)量。

  這(zhe)些(xie)(xie)器件(jian)(jian)內部集(ji)成了(le)防止電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池反向放電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)的(de)場效應(ying)晶(jing)體管(guan)(FET)、阻(zu)(zu)塞二極管(guan),也無需檢流電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)阻(zu)(zu),可(ke)降低系(xi)統(tong)成本(ben)。器件(jian)(jian)還有充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流熱過(guo)載保護(hu)(hu)功能(neng),既(ji)可(ke)以在有限的(de)空間中(zhong)最大限度地利(li)用(yong)(yong)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流,又不(bu)用(yong)(yong)擔心(xin)熱設計的(de)問(wen)題。這(zhe)些(xie)(xie)器件(jian)(jian)具有過(guo)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓保護(hu)(hu)、過(guo)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流保護(hu)(hu)和過(guo)熱溫(wen)度補(bu)償功能(neng),采用(yong)(yong)2mm×3mm×0.65mm的(de)超薄型(xing)雙扁(bian)平無引線(UDFN)耐熱封裝。
