精確的鋰離子電池充電器IC

       鋰離子充電電池具有能量密度高、容易制作成各種形狀和尺寸,因此在消費類電子產品中被廣泛使用。但鋰電池需要精確的充電電流和輸出電壓,以優化電池壽命和性能。為了滿足這一需求,飛思卡爾半導體公司推出了MC34671、MC34673和MC34674單輸入自動電池充電器集成電路。這些器件采用了飛思卡(ka)爾的SMARTMOS工藝技術(shu),輸(shu)(shu)入(ru)電壓(ya)可來自AC適配(pei)器或USB端口電源。器件的最(zui)大輸(shu)(shu)入(ru)電壓(ya)為28V,因此(ci)可以取消手持設(she)備的外部輸(shu)(shu)入(ru)過電壓(ya)保(bao)護電路,有助于降低(di)系統成本和電路板空間。

  芯(xin)片內(nei)部有寄(ji)存器(qi)(qi),飛思(si)卡爾可以根(gen)據客戶的需求(qiu),在生產流(liu)程(cheng)結(jie)束時(shi)對管腳輸出、功(gong)能(neng)集和(he)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)參數(shu)、LED指(zhi)示(shi)燈進行(xing)定(ding)制,從(cong)而組合成數(shu)百種配置,滿(man)足(zu)手機(ji)、藍牙耳(er)機(ji)、數(shu)碼相(xiang)機(ji)、個人媒體(ti)播放器(qi)(qi)、導航系統(tong)、數(shu)碼相(xiang)機(ji)和(he)旅行(xing)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)等設備的需求(qiu)。出廠前(qian)可編程(cheng)參數(shu)包括:輸出電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓、輸入過電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓保(bao)護、充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)、涓(juan)流(liu)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)、涓(juan)流(liu)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓閾(yu)值、終(zhong)止充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)、再充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)閾(yu)值、熱折返閾(yu)值、超時(shi)和(he)核查(cha)濾(lv)波(bo)器(qi)(qi)定(ding)時(shi)。工廠可重(zhong)新配置的功(gong)能(neng)包括:可編程(cheng)指(zhi)示(shi)燈管腳功(gong)能(neng)、ISET管腳(電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)套)、負溫度(du)系數(shu)(NTC)接(jie)口選(xuan)擇(ze)、電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池連接(jie)檢驗、終(zhong)止充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)和(he)遠程(cheng)傳感(gan)。

  MC34671的最大充電電流為600mA,過壓保護電壓為11V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34673的最大充電電流為1.2A,過壓保護電壓為6.8V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34674的初始固定充電電流可設定為50mA~1050mA,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.1ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC,過壓保護電壓為11V,具有超時檢測、NTC和智能電池檢測功能,適用于旅行充電器。即將推出的MC34672支(zhi)持(chi)USB充(chong)電,其他規格與前三款器件基本相(xiang)同。

  MC34671和MC34673在-20℃~+70℃溫(wen)(wen)度(du)范圍(wei)(wei)(wei)內(nei)的(de)(de)輸(shu)出電(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)度(du)為(wei)±0.7%(室溫(wen)(wen)下為(wei)±0.2%),在-40℃~+85℃溫(wen)(wen)度(du)范圍(wei)(wei)(wei)內(nei)的(de)(de)充電(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)流精(jing)度(du)為(wei)±5%和±6%。MC34674在-20℃~+70℃溫(wen)(wen)度(du)范圍(wei)(wei)(wei)內(nei)的(de)(de)輸(shu)出電(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)度(du)為(wei)±0.2%,在-40℃~+85℃溫(wen)(wen)度(du)范圍(wei)(wei)(wei)內(nei)的(de)(de)充電(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)流精(jing)度(du)為(wei)±8%。高輸(shu)出電(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)度(du)的(de)(de)好處是可(ke)延長電(dian)(dian)池(chi)的(de)(de)使(shi)用壽命(ming),最大限(xian)度(du)地實(shi)現充電(dian)(dian)容量。

  這(zhe)些器件內部集(ji)成(cheng)了防止電(dian)(dian)池反向(xiang)放電(dian)(dian)的(de)場效應晶體管(FET)、阻塞二極管,也(ye)無需(xu)檢流(liu)電(dian)(dian)阻,可(ke)降低系統成(cheng)本。器件還有(you)充電(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)流(liu)熱過載保護(hu)功能(neng),既可(ke)以在有(you)限的(de)空(kong)間中最大限度地(di)利用充電(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)流(liu),又不用擔(dan)心熱設(she)計的(de)問(wen)題。這(zhe)些器件具有(you)過電(dian)(dian)壓保護(hu)、過電(dian)(dian)流(liu)保護(hu)和(he)過熱溫(wen)度補償功能(neng),采用2mm×3mm×0.65mm的(de)超薄(bo)型雙扁平無引線(UDFN)耐熱封裝。
