精確的鋰離子電池充電器IC
鋰離子充電電池具有能量密度高、容易制作成各種形狀和尺寸,因此在消費類電子產品中被廣泛使用。但鋰電池需要精確的充電電流和輸出電壓,以優化電池壽命和性能。為了滿足這一需求,飛思卡爾半導體公司推出了MC34671、MC34673和MC34674單輸入自動電池充電器集成(cheng)電(dian)路。這些器件采用了飛思卡(ka)爾的SMARTMOS工藝技術,輸(shu)入(ru)電(dian)壓可來自AC適配器或USB端口電(dian)源(yuan)。器件的最(zui)大輸(shu)入(ru)電(dian)壓為28V,因此可以取消手持(chi)設備的外(wai)部輸(shu)入(ru)過電(dian)壓保護(hu)電(dian)路,有助(zhu)于降低系統成(cheng)本和電(dian)路板(ban)空間。

MC34671的最大充電電流為600mA,過壓保護電壓為11V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34673的最大充電電流為1.2A,過壓保護電壓為6.8V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34674的初始固定充電電流可設定為50mA~1050mA,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.1ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC,過壓保護電壓為11V,具有超時檢測、NTC和智能電池檢測功能,適用于旅行充電器。即將推出的(de)MC34672支持USB充電,其他規格與前三款器件基本相同。
MC34671和MC34673在(zai)-20℃~+70℃溫度(du)范圍內(nei)(nei)的(de)(de)輸出(chu)電(dian)壓(ya)精(jing)度(du)為(wei)(wei)±0.7%(室溫下為(wei)(wei)±0.2%),在(zai)-40℃~+85℃溫度(du)范圍內(nei)(nei)的(de)(de)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)電(dian)流(liu)(liu)精(jing)度(du)為(wei)(wei)±5%和±6%。MC34674在(zai)-20℃~+70℃溫度(du)范圍內(nei)(nei)的(de)(de)輸出(chu)電(dian)壓(ya)精(jing)度(du)為(wei)(wei)±0.2%,在(zai)-40℃~+85℃溫度(du)范圍內(nei)(nei)的(de)(de)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)電(dian)流(liu)(liu)精(jing)度(du)為(wei)(wei)±8%。高輸出(chu)電(dian)壓(ya)精(jing)度(du)的(de)(de)好處(chu)是(shi)可延長電(dian)池的(de)(de)使用壽(shou)命,最大(da)限度(du)地實現充(chong)(chong)電(dian)容(rong)量。
這些器件內部集成了防止(zhi)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池反向放電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)的場效應晶體管(guan)(FET)、阻塞二極管(guan),也無(wu)需(xu)檢(jian)流電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)阻,可降低(di)系(xi)統成本。器件還有(you)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流熱(re)過(guo)載保護功(gong)(gong)能,既可以在有(you)限(xian)的空間中最大(da)限(xian)度(du)地利用充電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流,又(you)不(bu)用擔心熱(re)設計(ji)的問題。這些器件具有(you)過(guo)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓保護、過(guo)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流保護和過(guo)熱(re)溫度(du)補償(chang)功(gong)(gong)能,采用2mm×3mm×0.65mm的超薄型雙扁(bian)平無(wu)引線(UDFN)耐(nai)熱(re)封裝(zhuang)。
