精確的鋰離子電池充電器IC

       鋰離子充電電池具有能量密度高、容易制作成各種形狀和尺寸,因此在消費類電子產品中被廣泛使用。但鋰電池需要精確的充電電流和輸出電壓,以優化電池壽命和性能。為了滿足這一需求,飛思卡爾半導體公司推出了MC34671、MC34673和MC34674單輸入自動電池充電器集成(cheng)電(dian)路(lu)。這些器(qi)件(jian)采用了飛(fei)思卡爾的SMARTMOS工藝(yi)技術,輸(shu)(shu)(shu)入(ru)電(dian)壓(ya)可(ke)來自AC適配器(qi)或USB端(duan)口電(dian)源。器(qi)件(jian)的最大輸(shu)(shu)(shu)入(ru)電(dian)壓(ya)為28V,因此(ci)可(ke)以取消手(shou)持設備的外部輸(shu)(shu)(shu)入(ru)過電(dian)壓(ya)保(bao)護電(dian)路(lu),有助于(yu)降低(di)系統成(cheng)本(ben)和電(dian)路(lu)板空(kong)間。

  芯片內部有寄存器,飛思卡爾可(ke)以根據(ju)客(ke)戶的(de)需(xu)求(qiu),在生產流(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)程(cheng)(cheng)結束時對管(guan)腳(jiao)輸出(chu)、功(gong)能集和(he)(he)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)參數(shu)、LED指示(shi)燈進行(xing)定制,從(cong)而組合成數(shu)百種配(pei)置(zhi)(zhi),滿足手(shou)機、藍(lan)牙耳機、數(shu)碼相(xiang)機、個人媒體播(bo)放器、導航系統、數(shu)碼相(xiang)機和(he)(he)旅行(xing)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器等設備的(de)需(xu)求(qiu)。出(chu)廠前(qian)可(ke)編程(cheng)(cheng)參數(shu)包(bao)括:輸出(chu)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓(ya)、輸入過電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓(ya)保護、充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)、涓流(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)、涓流(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓(ya)閾(yu)值(zhi)、終止充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)、再(zai)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)閾(yu)值(zhi)、熱折返閾(yu)值(zhi)、超時和(he)(he)核(he)查濾波器定時。工廠可(ke)重新配(pei)置(zhi)(zhi)的(de)功(gong)能包(bao)括:可(ke)編程(cheng)(cheng)指示(shi)燈管(guan)腳(jiao)功(gong)能、ISET管(guan)腳(jiao)(電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)套)、負溫度系數(shu)(NTC)接(jie)口(kou)選擇(ze)、電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)連接(jie)檢驗、終止充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)(liu)和(he)(he)遠程(cheng)(cheng)傳(chuan)感。

  MC34671的最大充電電流為600mA,過壓保護電壓為11V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34673的最大充電電流為1.2A,過壓保護電壓為6.8V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34674的初始固定充電電流可設定為50mA~1050mA,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.1ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC,過壓保護電壓為11V,具有超時檢測、NTC和智能電池檢測功能,適用于旅行充電器。即將推出的(de)MC34672支持USB充電,其他規(gui)格與前(qian)三款器件基(ji)本相同。

  MC34671和MC34673在(zai)-20℃~+70℃溫度(du)(du)(du)范(fan)圍(wei)(wei)內(nei)的(de)輸(shu)出電壓精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)(du)為±0.7%(室(shi)溫下為±0.2%),在(zai)-40℃~+85℃溫度(du)(du)(du)范(fan)圍(wei)(wei)內(nei)的(de)充(chong)(chong)電電流精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)(du)為±5%和±6%。MC34674在(zai)-20℃~+70℃溫度(du)(du)(du)范(fan)圍(wei)(wei)內(nei)的(de)輸(shu)出電壓精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)(du)為±0.2%,在(zai)-40℃~+85℃溫度(du)(du)(du)范(fan)圍(wei)(wei)內(nei)的(de)充(chong)(chong)電電流精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)(du)為±8%。高輸(shu)出電壓精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)(du)的(de)好處是可延長電池的(de)使用壽命,最大限度(du)(du)(du)地實現充(chong)(chong)電容(rong)量(liang)。

  這些器(qi)件(jian)內部(bu)集成(cheng)了防止(zhi)電(dian)池反向放電(dian)的(de)場效應(ying)晶體管(FET)、阻塞二極(ji)管,也(ye)無需檢流電(dian)阻,可(ke)降低系統成(cheng)本。器(qi)件(jian)還有充電(dian)電(dian)流熱(re)過(guo)載保(bao)(bao)護功(gong)能,既(ji)可(ke)以在有限的(de)空(kong)間中最大限度(du)地(di)利(li)用(yong)充電(dian)電(dian)流,又不用(yong)擔(dan)心熱(re)設計的(de)問題。這些器(qi)件(jian)具有過(guo)電(dian)壓保(bao)(bao)護、過(guo)電(dian)流保(bao)(bao)護和(he)過(guo)熱(re)溫度(du)補償功(gong)能,采用(yong)2mm×3mm×0.65mm的(de)超薄型雙扁(bian)平無引線(UDFN)耐熱(re)封(feng)裝。
