過壓保護功能的電池充電器

       全球領先的單片機和模擬半導體供應商――Microchip Technology Inc.(美國微芯科技公司)日前宣布,推出兩個具有過壓保護(OVP)功能的充電管理控制器系列,可防止輸入電壓尖峰造成電池充電器電路的過熱和損壞。MCP73113、MCP73114和MCP73213鋰離子(Li-Ion)電池及MCP73123和MCP73223磷酸鐵鋰電池充電器具備高精度電壓調節功能和(he)集成的傳(chuan)輸(shu)晶體管(guan)。這(zhe)些特(te)點的結合使便攜式電子(zi)設備設計的體積更(geng)(geng)小(xiao)、更(geng)(geng)安(an)全,而且運(yun)行時間更(geng)(geng)長(chang),適用于(yu)消費類、醫療和(he)工(gong)業市場。

MCP73113和MCP73114單節鋰離子電池充電器與MCP73123單節LiFePO4電(dian)(dian)池(chi)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)器(qi)的電(dian)(dian)壓(ya)調節精度高達0.5%;雙節MCP73213鋰離子和MCP73223 LiFePO4器(qi)件(jian)的電(dian)(dian)壓(ya)調節精度為0.6%。這些高精度的電(dian)(dian)壓(ya)調節可(ke)延長每次(ci)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)后電(dian)(dian)池(chi)的使用壽命,最終延長便攜式(shi)產品(pin)兩次(ci)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)之間(jian)的運行時間(jian)。此外,所有充(chong)電(dian)(dian)器(qi)都采用了(le)集成的傳輸晶體管,無需(xu)增加外部FET,并降(jiang)低了(le)整體設計成本、尺寸和復雜(za)性。
